Who will I live with?

Most students tend to approach us as a group looking to rent a student house. Each of you will need to provide the names of the people you wish to share with so we can process your applications accordingly. However, we are also happy to help individuals find a deluxe student room to rent in one of our outstanding properties.

What is the Reservation Fee and do I need to pay it?

A reservation fee (payable in installments if required) is needed to secure your room for the following academic year. So yes, you do need to pay it. This fee includes: Setting-up the Tenant’s account with the Landlord; Confirming the Tenant’s details; Credit Checks for the Tenant; Preparing an inventory of the contents in the Property at the start of the Term; The Landlord’s check-in procedures at the start of the Term; The Landlord’s check-out procedures at the end of the Term; and other administration procedures in connection with the Tenancy Agreement.

Can I move into my house over the summer?

Subject to your house being available we are happy for you to move in during the summer, we do not charge any extra rent to move in early but we charge £10 a week to cover utilities.

What are Bellvue’s payment arrangements?

Rent is normally payable termly however we understand that some students receive monthly bursary payments rather than the typical student loans that are payable termly. Should this affect you please contact our head office and we will be happy to assist you with an alternative arrangement.

Are Utility bills covered as part of my rental in Crewe?

Yes, your rental payment includes a generaous pre allocated amount of Gas & Electricity for your stay at a Bellvue house, Water bills are also included.

Will I need contents insurance?

Bellvue provides basic contents insurance on all our student accommodation in Crewe, though we recommend that you take out your own additional cover. For your added peace of mind, all Bellvue student houses are fitted with security alarms and your bedroom will also be lockable.

What do I do if there is a problem or fault?

You can contact Bellvue 24/7 by logging into your tenant login account via your smartphone or on our web site. We aim to repair faults within 24 hours.

I have reported a problem in my room, now what?

Once you have reported the problem via the Tenant Login, we will contact you to update you on the progress and notify you when the job has been completed. If the problem is within your room, you must leave it unlocked so we can gain access.

How many bedrooms do Bellvue’s houses have?

Bellvue’s student houses have between 4 and 5 bedrooms.

How big will my bedroom be?

Bedrooms vary in size in Bellvue’s student houses but most accommodate a double bed, all have fitted wardrobes, drawers, desk, shelves & chair.

Do I need to bring a TV & stereo?

No. All Bellvue’s luxury student houses in Crewe are fully equipped with flat screen digital Freeview TV’s in your bedroom and in the living room! All of our properties come complete with stereo & surround sound in the living room.

Will I need to arrange a TV Licence?

No. For your convenience, Bellvue will provide the TV licence for your luxury rented student house in Crewe.

Are Bellvue’s student houses in Crewe fully fitted with modern gas central heating systems which include heated towel warmers in the bathrooms?

Can my friends come to stay?

Yes! With your luxury student home rental in Crewe, you’re sure to be popular with your friends!

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, within reason, but you must request to do so and we must have written consent from all your housemates they are happy to live with your pet too!

Will I be able to park my car?

Yes! Parking is available but you may have to obtain a permit from the local council depending on the area you are in.

Is there a damage deposit to pay?

Yes, there is a damage deposit to pay of £200.00 prior to receiving your house and room keys. This is fully refundable as long as the property and your room are left as they were when you first moved in to the house. As soon as you move in we will register your deposit with a government-authorised tenancy deposit protection scheme ( and will email you the certificate for your records.

Who is responsible for cleaning?

You are responsible for cleaning your student house.

What do I need to bring with me?

Bellvue’s luxury student houses in Crewe come fully equipped with deluxe fittings and fixtures for your comfort and convenience! With Bellvue you can avoid the packing headache and travel light. All you need to bring is your bedding, towels, coat hangers, iron and cooking utensils, including crockery & cutlery.

Can I smoke in a Bellvue student house?

No. Smoking is not permitted in any of Bellvue’s Crewe student accommodation.

Do Bellvue student houses have smoke alarms?

Yes all houses are fitted with integrated smoke alarms and heat detectors.

I live in a Bellvue house but there is a maintenance issue. How do I Report a Problem?

Do this via the Tenant Login Area or via your Smartphone. If you have something that needs fixing in your house i.e. broken oven, light bulb out or Wi-Fi not working, you must log onto the Tenant Area and report it. We then organise for it be resolved quickly, usually between 24 hours and will keep you updated on the progress until completion of the task.
