Preston is known as a busy city, making it the perfect location for Uni Students. There are many pubs and bars which are suitable for daytime food and drinks, restaurants for evening meals, and of course, plenty of clubs for partying!
From a quiet pint to a big night out, the city has it all. Some of the best places are tucked away on side streets which you may not know about. Although, the main bars on Church Street are very popular on Friday and Saturday Nights.

Review, also know as ‘Preston’s famous 360-degree bar’. You can visit the bar on Thursday evenings through to Saturday night for possibly the best cocktails in the city.

Wings and Beer, located down Cannon Street off Fishergate, is a must-visit for all sports enthusiasts. The sports bar is a one-stop destination for enjoying high-quality food, whilst watching popular sports matches on screen.
You can pop into Wings and Beer whenever you fancy, whether you’re visiting for a nibble or having a party feast with your family and friends. The bar has a huge food and drinks menu, offering free range wings and handmade burgers, craft beer, ciders and cocktails. Yates Preston has been located in Preston city centre for over a century. The pub is only a few minutes’ walk from the bus station, as well as a 10-minute wall to the train station. It is open 7-days a week, both during the day and night.
In the daytime, the pub offers a huge food menu, including deals such as 2 meals for £7.95, and a vast range of drinks at great value. At night, it transforms into a popular and lively venue in town, with DJs on from 9pm-3am (Friday & Saturday).
